The Happy Hour prices were great. The food was spectacular. They use a signature seasoning for the Rib-eyes and Burgers. There was live music which I found was a special treat and later they brought out the Karaoke for the Lively late night bar crowd. Lots of fun.
San Felipe's Hidden Gem - Review of Parrots Cracker, San Felipe, Mexico - Tripadvisor
The border crossing was surprisingly easy. There were only about 4 cars in front of us when we arrived at the checkpoint. The guards stopped each car and made them open all the doors so they could look in the back seats and rifle through the trunk. When they got to us, I opened the side door and invited them in; they peeked in at Lilly and just waved us on! Another guy then led us to a parking space and walked us inside to process our visas. When I told him we were heading down the east side of Baja, he said to do the car importation paperwork down in La Paz, because the other place to do it would be far out of our way.
Machaca de Res On the Malecon with a great view, this restaurant is full service with a full menu. Extensive bar including wines of Mexico. Facility is clean and dog friendly. Chiles amarillos rellenos de camaron, Pinas Coladas and Pescado Dorado are my favorites.
